The Brooklyn rockers will play a special free show as part of the Milennium Stage Series at the Kennedy Center in DC in addition to two performances at New York City’s Town Hall and the 5th annual “fan appreciation show” at Mohegan Sun!

With the arrival of Summer, They Might Be Giants have many reasons to celebrate. The band will play Washington state’s Sasquatch! Music Festival this Memorial Day weekend and Bonnaroo on June 13. The band recently played two sold out benefit kids’ shows in the Boston area as well, with proceeds going to Boston By Foot (www.bostonbyfoot.org). The band has played a series of successful kids’ shows in support of Here Comes Science, their 2009 release.

After months of traveling the country on a national tour, 2009 Grammy Winners They Might Be Giants will play two benefit concerts at the New York Hall of Science on December 13. The two shows, at 1 and 3:15 pm, will feature TMBG’s newest songs from their latest children’s album “Here Comes Science,” which examines a wide array of scientific ideas. Proceeds from the $35 concert tickets will be donated to NYSCI.
