Adelitas Way Contributes a New Song to WWE the Music: A New Day

Adelitas Way has contributed a brand new song called “A New Day” to an upcoming WWE compilation titled WWE: The Music — A New Day. The collection, which also features songs from Story Of The Year and others, is available in-stores now as a standard CD and exclusively at Amazon MP3 as a digital download.

Meanwhile, the Las Vegas rockers continue to give their fans a behind the scenes look at life on the road through the use of digital short videos. The latest video captures bass guitarist Derek picking a fight with front man Rick and leaves one of the band members in pain on the floor. Check out the video here and see who comes out victorious.

Sick Puppies to play fans on Smackdown Vs Raw Xbox Live session

Sick Puppies will get their competitive juices flowing on Friday, December 18th at 8pm EST, when they will be challenging fans to an online session of WWE® SmackDown® vs. Raw® 2010 over the Xbox Live network. The band will be using the gamertag “SICKPUPPIESband” and the gaming session is expected to last for about 2 hours.

“We can’t wait to meet you guys online and play WWE® SmackDown® vs. Raw® 2010,” said Emma Anzai, bassist of Sick Puppies. “You’re going down!”

“You’re Going Down,” the No. 1 single from the band’s recent release, Tri-Polar, appears on the soundtrack to WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010. In addition, “You’re Going Down” served as the official theme song for the WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view in June 2009.

The band is currently wrapping up a tour with Rev Theory and Adelitas Way. A tour with Nickelback and Breaking Benjamin begins next April.

Adelitas Way Band Members To Play Against WWE Fans On Xbox Live Online

Adelitas Way have announced that they will be playing Smackdown vs. RAW 2010 against WWE fans on Xbox LIVE online today, 11/10, at 6PM EST for a session that is expected to last around two hours. Their track “Invincible” is part of the game’s soundtrack and it is also the theme song for the WWE show Superstars. The band has a good working relationship with WWE and even recorded the current “A New Day” theme song for Legacy. “We are very excited to interact with the fans in such a cool way; I hope our fans don’t hate us after we whoop them one by one,” said Rick DeJesus, the band’s lead vocalist. “Whomever we beat will get a hug from Keith when we come to your town because we love our fans.”

Adelitas Way is not only giving fans the opportunity to battle them online, but the Las Vegas rockers are also giving away an Xbox 360 with a copy of Smackdown vs. Raw 2010. Fozzy to release new album Chasing The Grail on 1/19

Fozzy the band featuring WWE Wrestling Superstar Chris Jericho and Stuck Mojo mastermind Rich ‘The Duke’ Ward release their 4TH Album Chasing The Grail through Riot Entertainment worldwide on January 19TH, 2010.

To celebrate the announcement of the release date Fozzy have launched the first single “Martyr No More” to the public via YouTube. The song also features a guest solo from Annihilator guitarist Jeff Waters. The album cover is on the right (designed by George Lenox). Check it out below:
