WWDC (DC101) will be having its annual summer concert on May 16th. DC101’s Chili Cookoff 2009 will star: The Offspring, Third Eye Blind, Papa Roach, Puddle of Mudd and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. The Offspring “The Shit is Fucked Up” Tour

The Offspring is BACK and ready to go on a nationwide summer tour behind their greatest hits album “Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace”. “The Shit is Fucked Up” Tour launches May 15th in Nashville and includes a few radio festivals. Openers for the tour will includeSum 41, Alkaline Trio, Street Dogs, Shiny Toy Guns, Dropkick Murphys, and Pennywise (check inside for full details). WMMR has announced the lineup for their big summer concert this year, MMRBQ 2009. Headlining the show this year will be ZZ Top and The Offspring. Papa Roach, Puddle of Mudd, Saliva, Duff McKagan’s Loaded and Halestorm will also be performing at the show on May 17th, 2009 at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, NJ (near Philly). Virgin Mobile Fest in Baltimore was alright, needs cooler name (phones doing it for the first time? eww)

This weekend, if you were anywhere besides Baltimore or Jersey City, you missed some good music and your life sucked. Who knew you’d hear that for NOT being in those cities? At the Virgin Mobile Fest this year, Foo Fighters, STP, NIN, Chuck Berry (yeah, really) and a bunch of other washed up bands played. For absolute full coverage, go here and here.
